Organic vs. Conventional Food and Farming

Conventional Pros

Picture
One-way conventional food may be a good decision is because it is a popular type of

farming. Conventional food may be more popular because there are more than three

times more conventional farms then organic farms. (newspaperarchive.com). Secondly is

that, often, conventional fruits, vegetables, and even drinks are cheaper then organics because when pesticides

are used on crops so bugs cannot eat them. This means that more of that product will survive. This results in

more of that crop, which makes the price drop. (dietdigest.net) Finally, conventional food has much better shelf

life then organic food because many of the pesticides, such as biopesticides, are commonly used in

conventional farming and also serve as preservatives. (shelflifeadvice.com)
